Below you'll find answers to your most pressing questions, all served with a touch of charm and just enough structure to keep the lawyers happy.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Is this co-ed?
Absolutely. Après Club is open to both men and woman — and we love a good mix. Whether you're here for the rally, the banter, or something that starts with “slow burn” and ends with “summer situationship,” you’re welcome here. Inclusivity is always in style.

What should I wear? (A.K.A. The Dress Code)
We take our outfits as seriously as our forehands. Black and white only, please — feel free to mix and match, but keep it cohesive and classic. This rule is strictly enforced. Think timeless, chic, and very photogenic. It's not just a lesson, it's a look.

Do I need to bring anything to my lessons?
Yes, come prepared! For tennis, you’ll need to bring your own racquet — we’ll provide the balls. For golf, bring your clubs if you have them. If not, we’ve got a few extras on hand. Just let us know in advance if you’ll need gear, and whether you're a lefty or a righty.

Liability Waivers
Before you swing a racquet, sip a spritz, or channel your inner Federer — we need your signature. All activities require a liability waiver signed in advance. It’s standard. It’s smart. It keeps the vibes light.

DURING & AFTER LESSONS

Can I take photos or content during lessons?
Absolutely — we encourage it! Capture the moment, the footwork, the fit. Après Club is all about elevated experiences and memories worth posting. We’ll also likely be taking photos and content during lessons for our own social channels, so you might just spot yourself on the feed. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let us know ahead of time.

What if I’m going to miss a lesson in my package?
We totally get that life happens (gala invites, spontaneous road trips, mysterious flings…) but all lesson packages are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. Your spot is reserved just for you — like a courtside seat at a private match.

Can my friend take my place if I can’t make it?
In some cases, yes. We’ll assess based on group size, level, and lesson flow. Just send us a note at founder@apresclub.ca and we’ll do our best to accommodate. No guarantees, but if it fits, it’s a go.

What if I’m running late or have to cancel last-minute?
Let us know as soon as possible so we can alert your instructor. We can’t rewind time, but we can keep communication crisp. Email founder@apresclub.ca.

Cancellation Policy – Weather Edition
We love Vancouver, but sometimes it pours. If your lesson is cancelled due to rain or poor court conditions, we’ll either schedule a make-up session or provide a partial refund depending on location and availability. You’ll always be notified via email in advance.

What’s the deal with Membership?
It’s coming — and it’s chic. Think exclusive access to classes, merch drops, members-only soirées, and other surprises. Sign up with your email to get first dibs.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Events, Packages, Lessons, and Merchandise
All purchases are final — whether you're booking a summer course or scooping a limited-edition hoodie. We’re a boutique operation with limited capacity and made-to-order goods, which means every spot and every piece matters. If something truly wild happens (wrong item, duplicate order, Mercury retrograde moment), email founder@apresclub.ca and we’ll review. No promises — but always grace.

CLUB SHOP MERCHANDISE

Where do you ship?
We currently ship across Canada. Your order may arrive in multiple packages, but you’ll only pay shipping once. Tracking for each package will be shared as soon as your items ship.

What does “made to order” mean?
Your Après goods are created just for you once you order. It takes a little longer (1–3 weeks), but it helps us avoid waste and stay intentional. Thank you for supporting sustainable, on-demand fashion.

How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are typically processed in 24–48 hours. Once prepped, shipping takes 3–10 days depending on your location.

How will I know when it’s shipped?
You’ll get a confirmation email once your order is placed, and a second email with tracking once it’s on the move.

UNNECESSARY BUT DELIGHTFUL

Is there a secret handshake?
We can neither confirm nor deny — but showing up with perfect posture, a monogrammed tote, and a chilled bottle of sparkling water certainly helps your case. 😉

What happens if I show up in neon?
Darling, we’ll still let you play — but you might be cropped out of the group photo. Black and white is the uniform. This is not Wimbledon… but it is close.

Can I bring my dog?
Only if they are extremely well-behaved, photogenic, and dressed appropriately. Bonus points for matching tennis visors.

Do I get a prize for best dressed?
Not officially — but people will talk. And isn't that half the fun?

Is it normal to feel like I’ve joined a secret society?
Entirely. That means it’s working.

What’s the record for number of people who’ve fallen in love at Après Club?
We’re not saying we’re responsible for three engagements, two situationships, and a very flirty doubles partnership… but we’re also not not saying that.
