Brand & Experience (Internship)
Part-Time • Vancouver • August 2025 – January 2026
10–15 hours/week | Hybrid, multiple locations (mostly in-person)
About Après Club
Après Club is a luxury-meets-play tennis and golf club rooted in aesthetic, charm, and community. We’re building something between a sport experience and a cultural movement — with stylish courts, curated merch, events, and lifestyle storytelling that feels both timeless and cheeky. Think: country club, reimagined.
About the Role
We’re building a tennis and golf club that feels as aesthetic as it is athletic — and this role is key to that experience. The internship evolves with the seasons and is organized into four core areas:
1. On-Site Experience (2–3 days/week, ~2–3 hours per day)
- Assist with setup and tear-down for tennis and golf lessons
- Greet and check in members with confidence and warmth
- Support branded product sampling (e.g. skincare, water, merch)
- Ensure the environment feels elevated, organized, and on-brand
2. Content & Social Media
-
Own our TikTok strategy: film, edit, and post weekly content
-
Capture key moments for Instagram and brand partners during lessons
-
Keep visual content folders organized and up-to-date
- Assist with content planning for seasonal drops or events
3. Events & Brand Activation
- Support courtside pop-ups, community activations, and private events
-
Style and prep physical spaces to reflect brand standards
-
Represent the brand in-person during activations and member events
-
Help execute creative hospitality touchpoints
4. Membership Growth & Advocacy
- Promote Après Club to your network and social circles
- Encourage sign-ups for lessons, merch, and events
- Act as a digital and in-person community connector
-
Share thoughtful feedback on member experience and brand vibe
Requirements
- Current post-secondary student eligible for Venture for Canada’s Internship Program (Fall 2025)
- Background in tennis or golf (playing or coaching preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Confident on camera and experienced with TikTok and Instagram
- Familiarity with Vancouver’s private club scene — ideally through personal or family connections
- Strong organizational skills and self-directed work ethic
- Interest in branding, hospitality, lifestyle media, or event experience
- Bonus: photography, video editing, Canva, or previous coaching/event experience
-
Able to commit 10–15 hours/week in a hybrid, mostly in-person role
